WHITLEY COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) — Wednesday evening, the Whitley County Plan Commission is holding a public meeting where residents are concerned over an agenda item to reclassify a piece of land.
Citizens are worried that these 80 acres of land will be transformed into a CAFO, or a Concentrated Animal Feeding Operation.
A board member had shut down the rumors of a slaughterhouse, but no mention of a CAFO has been brought up…
