AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — The Amarillo Animal Management and Welfare is hosting a “Clear the Shelter” event this weekend to help find homes for over 200 dogs and 60 cats.
The summer months are the busiest for the shelter, which has taken in nearly 800 animals.
