Bryant police make sure their K9 dogs stay cool in the middle of a heat advisory

BRYANT, Ark. – Bryant police are doing all they can to stay cool amid a recent bout of hot weather, which includes helping their K9 officers beat the heat.

Lieutenant Mark Kling with the Bryant Police said K9s are useful when looking for narcotics or suspects who may flee.

“You can imagine in this heat, getting a dog out to do something like that can be very taxing,” Kling said.
