I-10 ramp damaged by garbage truck in New Orleans reopens after months-long closure

The Interstate 10 West off-ramp to Airline Highway reopened Thursday, months after it was damaged by a garbage truck in May, according to the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development.

Crews began making repairs to the damaged support beams in late July, and work was originally estimated to last through the end of August.
