REPUBLIC, Mo — Early Thursday morning the Republic Police Department asked drivers to find an alternate route near State Highway MM just north of Highway 60 east.
State Highway MM (Brookline Ave) is closed in this area due to damage on the railroad tracks. This is just north of the Maverick convenience store in Republic on Highway 60 East. Many drivers may normally use this route to access MM to get to I-44 in the mornings in Republic.
This location is about a mile from Republic High School.
Drivers are asked to plan accordingly, and use caution in the area. More updates will be provided from the Republic Police Department when they are available…
