‘Serving up aloha,’ authentic Hawaiian grill marks one year inside Shreveport Downtown Artspace

It’s hard to believe a year has already passed since a favorite Shreveport restaurant and food truck reopened downtown.

Ono Hawaiian Grill has been around almost 10 years as both a food truck and brick-and-mortar location. After a short hiatus, the restaurant reopened as Ono Hawaiian Grill at Artspace and has been a welcome addition to the downtown Shreveport food scene.

It’s a friendly, lively place — bright with high ceilings and a wall of glass with a view into Shreveport’s creative Artspace. Many events are held at Artspace and exhibits — usually free — change about every eight weeks.
