MCMINNVILLE Ore. (KPTV) – The school year is just around the corner and many families may be looking for food assistance beyond school lunches. On the heels of a summer meal program, and as part of our ongoing Hunger Free Project, the McMinnville School District (MSD) is prepping its year-long food pantry.
The Sue Buel Food Pantry was able to serve more than 600 families – 10% of its student population – last year. It’s been operating since 2022, when the FOX 12 Surprise Squad helped get the effort off the ground.
