AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – The City of Augusta announced updates to its trash collection and recycling services on Thursday.
As it relates to trash collection, the city stated in a Aug. 21 press release that residents could experience “a short delay” in cart removal and replacement. If a resident needs a replacement cart, it will be provided within four weeks. A second cart can also be requested for an additional cost.
Here are the following rates for trash collection:
- Residential Service (95-gallon cart): $374.50
- Residential Service – (65-gallon cart): $294.38(previously 35 gallon cart)
- Non-Residential Service: $294.38
- Unoccupied Location Service: $214.25
- Extra Cart: $183.20
- Lost/Destroyed Cart: $134.13
