As a young child, I had always thought that NYC was so much nicer than Boston. It was New York, New York BABY. The city that never sleeps. Between Broadway and the bright light, I just assumed it was nicer. Then I grew up…and went there.
Gross. NYC is nasty. You never know what kind of liquid there is on the streets, there is human feces on the sidewalk, and don’t forget about all of the rats! Thousands of rats all over NYC prove just how disgusting it was.
So, since the age of 10 or so, I have thought Boston was FAR nicer than NYC. No rats, no grossness. I have been to Boston hundreds of times and I had never seen a rat. Well, things may be changing, and Boston may be turning into a NYC…
