SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCIV) — Four people and one dog were exposed to rabies in Berkeley County after a fox tested positive for the disease on Monday, according to the South Carolina Department of Public Health.
The fox was reportedly found near Bridgewater Court and Decatur Drive in Summerville, and was submitted for lab testing on Aug. 18 before being confirmed to have rabies the following day.
