VIDEO: Homes near collapse on Outer Banks as crews continue prepping for worst of Hurricane Erin

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — From Wrightsville to Rodanthe, beach towns along the N.C. coast are getting pelted with massive waves from Hurricane Erin.

The timing for the worst of Hurricane Erin’s impacts on these areas will be overnight Thursday and into Friday morning, according to Storm Team Meteorologist Rachel Duensing, who is in Rodanthe to bring us the latest on conditions there, where two homes are near collapse.
