COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL)- Scattered storms continue to build for your Thursday evening, and a few of these have been strong. Any storm that does develop will have a chance for heavy rain. So be sure to bring the umbrella if you plan to head to the Clingstones game.
Friday: We have a slight risk for heavy rainfall, so flooding will be our primary concern with tomorrow’s scattered storms. Afternoon highs will sit in the upper 80s.
Weekend: Readings will cool down for the weekend, sitting in the mid-80s. The stalled out front draped across the southeast will continue to bring unsettled weather through Sunday.
Next Week: Highs will rebound into the 90s on Monday, but they wont stay that way for long. A cold front is set to enter on Monday PM. Behind the front, get ready for plenty of sunshine and afternoon temperatures dropping into the lower 80s and upper 70s.
Tropics:Hurricane Erin remains a Category 2 storm as of 5 PM this evening. Some of the tropical storm warnings have been canceled for the East Coast.
