COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Dozens of families near Central Crossing High School were met with a shocking discovery on Thursday morning as police reported that around 75 vehicles were broken into overnight.
Residents awoke to find shattered glass and smashed windows throughout the community just north of Central Crossing High School.
“I was getting ready to leave for work. My neighbor rang my doorbell and said I hate to tell you this, but somebody broke into your truck,” said Mark Lowe, a resident in the neighborhood. “I came out to look at it and found a backpack laying beside it and then a kid driving by on a bicycle, asking did my car get broken into also? And I said yeah. He said there’s like 15 cars right down the road.”…
