Criminal charges are pending for a 67-year-old New Mexico woman who police believe was under the influence of methamphetamine when found slumped over the wheel of her car and blocking the roadway in Troy recently, officials said.
According to the Troy Police Department, officers were conducting a welfare check on the woman in a Mitsubishi Mirage on West Big Beaver Road at around 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 12 when they spotted a meth pipe in the center console of her vehicle.
She was taken into custody and, during a search of her vehicle, officers found more meth pipes and two small bags of methamphetamine, police said…
