In a new rankings report, only two Bay Area schools were among the 10 best California public high schools, similar to last year’s results.
High schools in Southern California swept the top six spots in U.S. News & World Report’s ranking of 1,646 California public schools, published Tuesday. Whitney High School in Cerritos secured the No. 1 spot, followed by Oxford Academy in Cypress and Science Academy STEM Magnet in North Hollywood.
