Ocala man who tried to rob liquor store gets over 7 years in prison

An Ocala man who attacked a cashier while attempting to rob a local liquor store has been sentenced to more than seven years in prison.

On Monday, 36-year-old Keyobie Dawadrian Bullard pleaded guilty to attempted robbery with a deadly weapon and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. The charges stem from an incident that occurred at Beavers Discount Liquor (3050 NE Jacksonville Road in Ocala) in 2022.

Court records show that on May 6, 2022, a witness was walking past the liquor store when they saw a battery incident.
