PennDOT gives Harrisburg encampment residents final move-out date

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — For months, residents of Harrisburg’s homeless encampment known as Tent City received move-out dates, only for them to change. Now, there’s a sign firmly planted in the ground telling them when to leave.

September 22 is the date it says residents must vacate the area. Construction on the I-83 expansion starts the very next day.
