Lexington now has a new resource for local veterans

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Veterans often face continued challenges long after they leave the battlefield, but for those who call Lexington home, they now have a new resource to make that even easier.

City leaders, along with members of a group called Volunteers of America Mid-States, joined to cut the ribbon on the new Veteran’s Unity Point Resource and Support Center at the Kenwick Community Center.

Mike Dinger is a veteran who served from 1983 to 1996.
