Meet Mr. Garcia, Chavez’s ELD teacher. Mr. Garcia currently teaches ELD levels 1 and 2, as well as ethnic studies, in room M17.
Mr. Garcia graduated from CCHS, and when the opportunity arose for him to return to his alma mater to teach, he seized it. He was happy to be back where he grew up and excited to see some of his favorite teachers from high school.
Mr. Garcia’s best advice for seniors graduating: “Do something you like to do. Just because you are studying, just because it makes a lot of money, you might get burnt out. You get burnt out and feel like you wasted a lot of time. And take your time with things; no one´s in a rush, no one competes.”…
