BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. — A brush fire that has damaged at least 42,000 acres continued to burn on Thursday afternoon in the Florida Everglades.
According to the Florida Forest Service rangers, about 10% had been contained by 2:10 p.m., and there were helicopters involved in the firefight and airboats in surveying.
