EL PASO, Texas (Border Report) – Police in Juarez, Mexico, have arrested a 74-year-old woman allegedly in possession of nearly more than half a pound of cocaine packed into various conveyances.
Chihuahua state police officers, Mexican soldiers and National Guard members carried out a search warrant on a home in the Infonavit Casas Grandes neighborhood and arrested Raquel P.G. after finding more than 11 ounces of the drug, the Chihuahua Attorney General’s Office said in a statement.
The search revealed a fanny pack with 115 doses of cocaine wrapped in plastic, plastic bag with cocaine powder and cocaine “rocks,” a brown purse with two plastic bags with cocaine and a black purse with three plastic bags also containing the white powdery substance.
