After roughly four years, a taco restaurant will soon leave Overland Park.
Texas-based Torchy’s Tacos will close its doors in Overland Park next week. An employee at the restaurant confirmed its last day will be Tuesday.

Torchy’s Tacos was at 6815 W. 135th St.
- The restaurant occupied a space at the Corbin Park shopping center, just off 135th Street and Metcalf Avenue.
- There, the restaurant operated near the Corner Bakery Cafe and Italian eatery Maggiano’s Little Italy.
- Before Torchy’s took over its Overland Park space, the space was previously occupied by Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom — which closed sometime in 2020.
