Shreveport’s master plan update looks to this group to spark growth, sell property

More than 18 months after they started, the company hired to shepherd the city through “One Shreveport”- the update to the “Great Expectations” master plan- will be scheduling a public review in September.

This week, Andrew Knuppel of Asakura Robinson, the Houston-based planning and urban design group working with the city on the update, made a short presentation to the Shreveport Implementation and Redevelopment Authority.

Knuppel told the members of the non-city government, volunteer-staffed SIRA that they are key in making the master plan work…
