ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced North Carolina will receive $96 million in additional funds to support Helene recovery efforts.
The funds will go toward projects like road repairs, infrastructure restoration, debris removal, and other emergency actions taken to protect life and property after the storm, according to an Aug. 22 news release.
