Coachella Animal Network Expands Affordable Pet Care with Special Clinic

Hundreds of valley residents brought their pets to Fantasy Springs Resort Casino on Wednesday for a special low-cost animal clinic, spay-and-neuter and adoption event. The clinic was organized by the Coachella Animal Network, led by founder Kim Hardee, who has dedicated herself to making affordable veterinary care accessible to local families. “We see about 200 animals for vaccines and wellness checks, and then we do about 30 to 40 animals get spayed and neutered,” Hardee said. “So for us, that’s 60 to 80 per month.” While Hardee typically hosts two clinics a month, this event was larger than usual thanks to partnerships with Animal Samaritans, Loving All Animals, and Riverside County Animal Services.
