HEIGHTS – City council members called for tougher sanctions against reckless drivers in the city, including vehicle impoundment and towing, and forfeiture in extreme cases, during the Aug. 12 council meeting.
Councilmember Hassan Saab asked the council special corporate council to draft an ordinance that would allow vehicle forfeiture in cases of repeated reckless driving, similar to what Dearborn has done.
