INGHAM COUNTY, Mich. (WILX) – One man is injured after police say he fled from a traffic stop in East Lansing early Friday morning. East Lansing Police were called out to a report of a suspected drunk driver around 2:00 a.m.
Police located the vehicle in question in downtown East Lansing and attempted to conduct a traffic stop. Police say the driver drove away at a high rate of speed and officers terminated their pursuit.
Shortly after they terminated the pursuit, the driver crashed near the US-127 NB on-ramp from Saginaw St. The ramp was blocked off for a significant period of time as numerous agencies responded to the scene including the East Lansing, Lansing and Lansing Township Police Departments…
