FBI Mobile operation leads to 18 arrests, recovered child

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — The FBI’s Mobile Division made multiple arrests and recovered a child during a recent operation, News 5 has learned.

Officials with the Federal Bureau of Investigation said that since Aug. 18, they have arrested 18 people in the country who were here illegally and recovered one “unaccompanied alien child.”

According to an FBI Mobile Facebook post, the immigration enforcement operations took place in Mobile and Baldwin counties.

Officials said at least four of the people had prior criminal histories.
