Drug conspirator sentenced to 10 years for mailing cocaine from Puerto Rico to Syracuse

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — A Puerto Rico man will serve a decade in federal prison after admitting to his role in a major drug trafficking and money laundering conspiracy that brought large quantities of cocaine into Syracuse through the U.S. Mail.

Alex Calcano-Carrasquillo, 44, was sentenced to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to conspiracy to distribute over 5 kilograms of cocaine and money laundering.
