Insurance companies are using drones to look in on properties without homeowners knowing and using the photos to cancel policies.
Topsfield resident Lynne Schueler said it felt very invasive. Her insurance company took a photo of her house when she wasn’t home. Weeks later, she got an email telling her that her insurance would be cancelled if she did not cut back several tree branches that were hanging over the roof of her house.
Lynne said she only had about six weeks to get the limbs removed…
