The Coastal Child Advocacy Center (CCAC) has donated 20 “Blanket Buddies” to the Rockport Police Department, thanks to the efforts of volunteer Sharon Screws and the generosity of local community members.
Each Blanket Buddy includes a child-sized blanket paired with a stuffed animal, providing comfort to children in stressful or traumatic situations. The blankets and toys were donated to CCAC by area residents who wanted to help local families in need.
