BONNEY LAKE, Wash. — The Sumner-Bonney Lake School District said this week it will review its facility-use policies after parents raised concerns about a Pride-affiliated drag performance held at an elementary school.
A community mental health agency and nonprofit hosted the July 26 event, renting Donald Eismann Elementary over a weekend. Organizers said the performances, which included members of “Riff Raff’s Street Rats,” supported the local LGBTQ community.
