SPOKANE, Wash. — Drivers on Interstate 90 in Spokane should be ready to pump the brakes starting Sunday, Aug. 24. Maintenance crews for the Washington State Department of Transportation will be sweeping the roadway between the Geiger Blvd. and State Route 27/Pines Avenue interchanges.
Beginning at 4 a.m. on Sunday, crews will conduct mobile left lane closures on east- and westbound I-90 between milepost 276 and milepost 290. Crews will start sweeping on eastbound I-90, then turn around and sweep westbound I-90. Then, from Aug. 25-27, crews will conduct mobile right lane and ramp closures in the same area…
