Mack Defense awarded $221.8M Army contract

The U.S. Army recently awarded Allentown-based Mack Defense, a heavy-duty trucks provider, a five year, up to $221.8 million contract for up to 450 M917A3 Heavy Dump Trucks (HDT).

M917A3 HDTs support the U.S. military’s construction and upkeep of airfields, landing strips, motor pools, roadways, supply facilities, and disaster relief for areas affected by severe weather.
