For the third consecutive year, Arts, Beats & Eats, taking place August 29 to September 1, is welcoming back a cannabis lounge hosted by House of Dank.
Known as DankWay, the lounge will be located on 7th Street between Washington and Center in Royal Oak, giving adults 21 and older a designated space to purchase and consume marijuana during the Labor Day weekend festival. DankWay debuted in 2023 as the first state-approved cannabis consumption area at a major festival in Michigan. In addition to DankWay, House of Dank is also bringing back Dankland, a nearby space that focuses on entertainment rather than consumption. Dankland will feature live DJs, interactive art, exclusive merchandise, and games in a visually immersive atmosphere designed to draw in festival-goers who want to experience cannabis culture without actual use…
