YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — One police department became the first in York County to sign an agreement with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Records show West York Borough signed a 287(g) agreement, which allows ICE to delegate some duties to local law enforcement, earlier this month. Police Chief Matthew Millsaps said he did it because ICE is increasingly asking the department for assistance.
