Confusion over ‘DaBaby at MSU’ concert being called off

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Michigan State University is letting students know that an off-campus concert featuring DaBaby, originally slated for Friday, Aug. 22, was cancelled. The “DaBaby at MSU” concert was planned to feature rapper DaBaby at the Beta Theta Pi fraternity house.

MSU is saying that students have asked the concert promoters to cancel the event, but promoters are insisting that the event has been postponed to a later date.

“The students who live at 330 N. Harrison (Beta Theta Pi) have reached out to concert promoters and asked them to stop selling tickets to this event and to communicate with those who have purchased tickets,” a social media post on Tuesday by MSU Student Life said. “They have not been successful. MSU has sent them a cease-and-desist letter with no response.”
