U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement put a hold on a Wildwood man who was arrested for driving with a license.
A deputy observed 37-year-old Irvin Silvestre Hernandez Valdez driving a blue Jeep Cherokee in Lady Lake around 10:25 p.m. Thursday, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. A check of the tag revealed its registration expired on Nov. 24, 2024.
Due to this, the deputy stopped the vehicle at the intersection of U.S. Hwy. 441 and Northeast 135th Xing. Hernandez Valdez stated he did not have a driver’s license and had never gotten one. A check of his driving history confirmed this to be true, the report said…
