A homeless man in Leesburg was arrested for trespassing when officers saw him standing outside the Leesburg Smoke Shop.
Officers responded to the Leesburg Smoke Shop, located at 107 S 14th St., regarding a suspicious person at 8:15 p.m. Saturday, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department. Upon arrival, they saw 43-year-old Leroy Alexander Rogers standing on the side of the building.
The officers had multiple prior encounters with Rogers and knew him on a first name basis. A record check confirmed he had already been trespassed from the property on Dec. 15, 2024, the report said.
