Villager’s daughter won’t be prosecuted in intoxicated battle over trash

A Villager’s daughter who refused to help take out the garbage won’t be prosecuted in an alleged attack on her mother.

The prosecutor’s office has announced that no information will be filed in the case of 46-year-old Amy Marie Collier of Royse City, Texas. The prosecutor’s office cited “victim/witness issues” as the reason it has decided not to proceed with the case.

The Williamsburg, Va. native was arrested earlier this month at her mother’s home in the Tanglewood Villas in the Village of Sabal Chase. Her mother wanted help taking the garbage to the curb, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.
