Man charged with hitting pedestrians in Wilmington dies by suicide

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – A man charged with allegedly hitting pedestrians in downtown Wilmington has died by suicide, according to the district attorney’s office.

Thomas Clay Robinson Jr. was found dead in his home on Aug. 5, and a death certificate was supplied to the District Attorney’s Office.

The court later dismissed Robinson’s charges after a dismissal notice of reinstatement was filed on Aug. 18…
