(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Multiple law enforcement agencies recovered three stolen cars and arrested five people during several recent deployments targeting motor vehicle theft.
The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), El Paso County Sheriff’s Office (EPSO), and the Colorado State Patrol (CSP) have released reports of two more of their recent Beat Auto Theft Through Law Enforcement (BATTLE) deployments, which include operations within the City of Colorado Springs and greater El Paso County.
On Thursday, July 24, CSPD launched an investigation into a burglary at a home on Tree Creek Trail, just off of East Woodmen Road near Rangewood Drive. According to the CSPD report, a video recorded 29-year-old Chance Davidson entering the home’s unlocked garage and taking the homeowner’s Ford Explorer.
