COLONIE, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A motorcyclist has died after colliding with a car on Central Avenue in Colonie. The Colonie Police Department said the crash happened around 11 p.m. on Friday.

Police, Colonie EMS and Stanford Heights Fire Department responded to the crash scene on Central Avenue near Fox Avenue. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead on scene.
Colonie police said the car involved in the crash stopped and is cooperating with the investigation. The identity of the motorcyclist will not be released until next of kin is notified, said police.
