$3 million bond for man accused of killing 2 family members, shooting 2 East Cleveland Police officers

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – The 24-year-old man recently indicted for killing his 82-year-old grandfather and his 22-year-old brother, as well as shooting and injuring two East Cleveland police officers, is set to be arraigned Friday morning.

On Aug. 19, a Cuyahoga County grand jury indicted 24-year-old Aaron Sharp on the following charges:

  • Two counts of Aggravated Murder
  • Four counts of Murder
  • Two counts of Attempted Aggravated Murder
  • Eight counts of Felonious Assault
  • Two counts of Tampering With Evidence

At his arraignment, Shrap’s bond was set at $3 million, and he pleaded not guilty.

The Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office said on August 7, around 11 p.m., the East Cleveland Police Department (ECPD) responded to a domestic dispute at a residence near Taylor and Terrace roads…
