But sometimes, things don’t go as planned, and what happened in today’s rescue mission is sure to make you laugh out loud!
This unusual rescue took place in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, when a passerby noticed a cat stranded on a highway bridge. The local rescue services were alerted, and before long, the whole rescue mission was being broadcast live on TV for everyone to see!
The poor cat was sitting high above the water, and one wrong move could send her plummeting 50 feet down.
Fortunately, the incredible firefighting team from Fort Lauderdale arrived on the scene, ready to save the day. They brought with them a crane, which would be their tool for reaching the cat and bringing her to safety.
As soon as the crane was in position, two firefighters jumped onto it, eager to assist. They carefully moved the crane toward the cat, but she was still just out of reach…
