GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A new fast-casual takeout restaurant in Grand Rapids has seen lines out the door since its soft opening.
The Toasted Pickle opened a Grand Rapids location on Aug. 12 at 820 Michigan St. near Houseman Avenue, expanding the popular brand that began eight years ago as a sandwich shop in Grand Haven and has since expanded with a location in Rockford.
It offers several scratch-made sandwiches, like the crusty Cuban made with house pulled pork, sweet and spicy pickles, smoked bacon and tangy aioli, or the French dip with slow roasted beef, sauteed onions, gruyere and French onion sauce. It also has salads, fresh-squeezed lemonade and milkshakes, with “pickle juice shots” in the lobby for all customers.
