Lexington woman wins $100K on scratch-off, says grandkids comes first

DAVIDSON COUNTY, N.C. — A Lexington woman said her grandchildren were the first thing on her mind after winning $100,000 from a scratch-off ticket, lottery officials said.

LuAnn Chico bought the winning $20 Ruby Red 7’s ticket Friday morning at the Sheetz on Peters Creek Parkway in Winston-Salem.
