April stabbing in Bendersville was self-defense, police say – stabbed man now charged

The April stabbing of a man in Bendersville has been ruled as self-defense, with the man who was stabbed now facing felony charges, police said.

Terry Williams, 37, of Rife Road in East Berlin, is now facing felony charges of strangulation and child endangerment, as well as misdemeanor charges of simple assault, reckless endangerment, criminal mischief, and summary harassment, according to charges filed by the Bendersville Borough Police Department on Thursday, Aug. 21, 2025.
