LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The sounds of a weed wacker and leaf blower echoed from a corner of Louisville Cemetery Association at Eastern Parkway and Poplar Level Road. Shanna Hinkle and her son are doing the work, clearing grass grown high over headstones in the cemetery.
Hinkle said her son came out with her to cleanup right after he got off work, all of it done during their free time.
“No, I don’t think we should be doing this at all,” Hinkle said. “The grave owners should be doing this, cutting the grass.”…
