(KRON) — An armed man detained by San Pablo police Wednesday was in possession of a loaded, black firearm that was stolen 15 years ago out of Vallejo, said officials.

San Pablo PD said officers responded to the 2600 block of El Portal Drive to investigate the report of a man with a gun.
Police learned the firearm was drawn during a disturbance between the suspect and victim. The suspect was located walking nearby by officers after the incident, where the alleged gun was found on the right side of his waistband during a search.
